When I was invited to come to Zambia to do fieldwork, I tried not to make expectations about the country and the people. I only had a comment from my Zambian friend Protensia Hadunka: “believe me, this trip will change forever the way you think”. After 24 days in Zambia, I must say he was right. Having the chance of talking with the protagonists of the survey allowed me to meet hundreds of humble and easygoing people that are passionate about agriculture as a way of living.
